Lead Analyst/Developer. Designed, developed, implemented, and supporting a database driven web site designed to broker photographs, backgrounds, digital artwork, etc. The site allows photographers and other artists to upload their work for sale to the public. Tools: PHP, MySQL.

Lead Analyst/Developer. Provided maintenance and support for a statewide Client/Server system, The Federal Aid Tracking System (FATS), for WA Dept of Transportation. Migrated application to SQL Server 2000. Performed testing of migration to PowerBuilder 8. Included making extensive modifications to the client/server module and several complex stored procedures. Developed several additional stored procedures to support new user requirements. FATS manages all Federal Funds appropriated to the State by the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) and non-Federal Funds. Interfaces with the FHWA's FMIS system in Washington DC via FTP for the purpose of authorizing funds for specific projects. Tools: Powerbuilder 7.0, Powerbuilder Foundation Class Library (PFC), MS SQL Server 7/2000, and Erwin.

 

  • Manages over $300 million annually and tracks over $1 billion of Federally Funded Projects at any one time.
 

 

Lead Analyst/Developer. Provided maintenance and support for a statewide Client/Server and Web system, the Survey Information System (SIS), for WA Dept of Transportation. Migrated application to SQL Server 2000. Performed testing of migration to PowerBuilder 8. Included making extensive modifications to the client/server module and several complex stored procedures. Modified the Cold Fusion Web Module to work with the changes made in the client/server module. SIS tracks and manages over 4000 Survey Monuments statewide and interfaces with a GIS mapping system used for internet access. Tools: PowerBuilder 7.0, MS SQL Server 7/2000, Cold Fusion, and Erwin.

Lead Analyst/Developer. Provided maintenance and support for a statewide Client/Server system, the Estimates and Bids Analysis System (EBASE), for WA Dept of Transportation. Migrated application to PowerBuilder 7 and SQL Server 2000. Performed testing of migration to PowerBuilder 8. Included making extensive modifications to the client/server module and several complex stored procedures. Developed several additional stored procedures to support new user requirements. EBASE is used by Engineers, Architectural Engineers, and the State Ferries Division to estimate multi-million dollar road construction and maintenance projects. Imports contractor bids to estimate and assist in the selection for contracts award. Tools: PowerBuilder 6.5/7.0, MS SQL Server 6.5/7/2000, and Erwin.

Lead Analyst/Developer. Provided maintenance programming for the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) and the Region Technical System (RegTech) for WA Dept of Transportation. Migrated application to SQL Server 2000. Performed testing of migration to PowerBuilder 8. These two related systems provide the means to track and manage the status and history of material samples which are tested for standards compliance. Tools: Powerbuilder 7.0 and MS SQL Server 7/2000, and Erwin.

Lead Analyst/Developer. Designed and developed a client/server Local Employee Selection System for the Washington State Department of Veteran Affairs. The system manages the selection of applicants received at two WSDVA facilities, a Veterans Retirement Facility and a Veterans Hospital. Administers the process for current employees bidding for vacant positions. Responsibilities included business rules and process analysis, developing and documenting system requirements and specifications, and developing several complex stored procedures. Tools: Powerbuilder 6.5, MS SQL Server 6.5, Custom Class Library, and Erwin.

Analyst/Developer. Completed the development for VetTrak, a client/server Veterinary Office Management System. Migrated the application to PowerBuilder 7.0 near the end of the development. Lead Analyst/Developer. Designed and developed TrakSoft PDM, a Home Information Management System. This is a commercial application for the market for TrakSoft. It is a Personal Data Manager with 82 database tables used to manage every aspect of the home. Responsibilities included business rules and process analysis and developing and documenting system requirements and specifications. Tools: Powerbuilder 7.0, Sybase SQL Anywhere, and Erwin.
